Agriculture is one of the biggest growing sectors in the world today with crop and live stock production at its peak. given the constant increasing population that doubles the amount of food consumed per day compared to what is being produced due to various reasons like failure to access supplies, lack of enough knowlegde on how to plant and harvest early, failure to calculate seasons, delay in production processes and many others.

The introduction of ICT 4 Agriculture is mainly targeted to solve some of the above issues and improve productivity, farmers standards of living, and also encourage more people to invest in agriculture. our students  have sout ways of intergarating ICT in agricuture through the development of mobile applications and web systems that can be used to detect diseases in  crops, animals, make orders with suppliers easily, reach out to customers and easily obtain market, get quick advise of farming tips through internet and sharing ideals wiht other farmer using these applications  and many others.
